About Us

Zimskate Foundation is a private voluntary organization that is bringing the entire skateboarding industry and culture to Zimbabwe. We are pioneering the field of roller sports in our country. Our corporate identity is anchored on community service particularly to the young and underprivileged members of society. We strongly support and believe in respect of the sexes and providing sustainable development to local communities in Zimbabwe. We strive for service excellence in skateboarding and roller sports coaching and mentorship, soft skills training, skate park construction and management. We are purposed to provide high quality skate equipment and gear to our program participants to ensure their maximum safety and satisfaction. Our corporate branding and organizational culture are synonymous with entertainment, fun, innovation and opportunity. Our motto “Keep on Grinding” represents our goal of giving equal opportunity to children from all walks of life. We aim to provide career options to all interested people through roller sports and instill the quality of a disciplined approach to tackling life’s challenges. In partnership with the Zimbabwean youth, non-profit organizations, for-profit corporates, government ministries, parastatals, well-wishers and professionals of interest, we will make a historical imprint on the fabric of Zimbabwean sports, communities, infrastructure, popular culture and sustainable development.

Our Team

Lindani Mataure
Co-Founder/Director
Lindani holds a BA Multimedia in Digital Visual Arts from the University of South Africa. He is an entrepreneur and businessman with over 10 years of industry experience.
Brighton Tinashe Dzvairo
Co-Founder/Director
Tinashe is an entrepreneur and trained filmmaker who studied at Zimbabwe Film and Television School of Southern Africa. Over the years he has worked in various organizational positions spanning several different professions.
Sheila Chikunguru
Finance Officer
Sheila Chikunguru is the finance officer at Zimskate Foundation and was a former assistant Accountant at Powertel Communications as well as an Accounting student attachee at Global Papers Pvt Ltd. Will be responsible in the keeping of company records,preparation of financial statements, budgets, reconciliations etc.
Chipo Muserepwa
Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Chipo Muserepwa started her career as a lecturer in Institutions of Higher learning and moved to become a General manager in a construction industry and moved to being a Research Assistant. She has a Masters In Strategic Marketing, bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality Management and Certificate in Digital Marketing
Deleen Masawi Kaseke
Administration Officer
Deleen has over 15yrs of experience handling a wide range of administrative and Executive support tasks.
Fadzai Nicole Chiwara
Human Resources Officer
Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems, 2 1/2 years working in IT, in a large corporate firm. Just over a year and a half working in Sales at a print and design studio. Works with vulnerable children on a volunteer capacity, as well as volunteers knowledge and skills to smaller charity organizations that work with vulnerable groups within the community.
Nqobizitha Nyakunu
Media Officer
Nqobizitha Nyakunu, is a graduate in Film and Theatre Arts from the Midlands State University, an individual interested in the development of societies through advocacy and charity work. An enthusiastic consultant in arts/communications focusing on collaborative relationships, inclusive communications and innovation with cultural diversity.
Diana Rubwe
Quality Assurance Officer
Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Psychology. 7+ years experience working in Non-Governmental Organisations. Experience in Administration, Programs and management.

Moses is an experienced educationist,skilled and knowledgeable in motivating both national and local community leaders in development. Served in Government in the Ministry of Education Sports and Culture loyally from 1984 to 2000.
